Mallorca is one of the strongest Padel islands for German-speaking vacationers because you can combine very different types of travel in a small space: urban club selection in Palma, premium in the southwest, family-friendly beach resorts in the north and real academy training in Manacor.
01The quick decision
Palma is the best base if you want lots of clubs and short distances without a rental car. Calvià, Bendinat and Santa Ponça are stronger for premium, beach and upscale hotels. Alcúdia and Playa de Muro best suited for families and beginners.
Manacor is the first choice when training is the focus. Cala d'Or and the southeast work well if Padel is intended to be a relaxed sports component on a resort vacation.
First select the region, then the club.
On Mallorca the location is more important than the individual court name. Without a car, Palma has a clear advantage; Manacor is worth it for training, the north is worth it for families.
02Travel time and mobility
The best months for Padel on Mallorca are April to June and September to October. In July and August, you should choose early morning or evening times. In winter, Padel remains quite possible, but club operations, hotel offerings and weather are quieter depending on the region.
You can reach Palma from the airport in around 10 to 15 minutes. The southwest is usually 20 to 25 minutes. Alcúdia and Playa de Muro take around 40 to 55 minutes, Manacor around 45 minutes, Cala d'Or around an hour or more.
03The best regions
Palma & Surroundings: best base without a rental car
Palma offers the widest selection of clubs and the best everyday life for city trips, Workation and spontaneous court bookings. Pins Padel, Palma Padel, Palma Racket Club and UDYR make the city the easiest choice if you want multiple options within a short distance.
Calvià / Southwest: Premium, beach and good facilities
Bendinat, Portals and Santa Ponça are strong if you want to combine Padel with upscale hotels, beach clubs and quality infrastructure. Bendinat Urban Country Club and Mallorca Country Club are the main anchors.
Alcúdia / Pollença: family, beach and indoor anchor
The north is the best family region. Playa de Muro and Alcúdia combine long beaches with good club logic. Smash Padel Group is the strongest anchor because indoor and outdoor courts make planning easier.
Manacor / East: Training and Rafa Nadal Academy
Manacor is less of a classic beach vacation, but the strongest training address. The Rafa Nadal Academy makes the region the best choice for players who want to specifically improve.
Cala d'Or / Southeast: Resort vacation with Padel module
Cala d'Or, Santanyí and Cala Ratjada make sense if Padel is not the main purpose, but a nice sports part of a family or resort vacation. The club density is lower, but the vacation factor is high.
